Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Appraisal Coordinator to join our team. This entry-level position is responsible for managing appraisal orders after assignment, ensuring they move smoothly through the pipeline to completion. The ideal candidate will take ownership of a defined geographic region, build strong relationships with vendors, and actively resolve challenges to ensure timely delivery of orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor assigned appraisal orders from assignment through completion, ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Chase orders by proactively following up with vendors, appraisers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage and build rapport with vendors in an assigned geographic region to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve order issues, anticipating potential delays and preventing orders from going sideways.
  • Handle a variety of problem-solving duties related to vendor communication, scheduling, and pipeline management.
  • Answer phones and provide customer service during assigned phone coverage shifts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex order-related issues.
  • Track progress against deadlines and report status updates as needed.

Performance Expectations

  • Orders in assigned region move efficiently through the pipeline with minimal delays.
  • Difficult orders are proactively managed and resolved without escalation.
  • Strong working relationships with vendors lead to improved responsiveness and reliability.
  • Consistently meets or exceeds on-time order completion metrics.

Qualifications

  • College Degree is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships quickly.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive problem solver with a customer service mindset.
  • Comfortable making phone calls and following up consistently.
  • Previous experience in customer service, order management, or a similar role is a plus but not required.
  • Minimum 40 WPM. 50 65 WPM preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Competent in learning and navigating company-specific proprietary software.
